Upon your arrival at Casablanca airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transport you to your hotel in Casablanca.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a tour of Casablanca, visiting the impressive Hassan 2 Mosque and exploring the old medina. Afterward, we’ll journey to the Moroccan capital, Rabat. Begin our exploration with landmarks like the Hassan Tower and Kasbah Oudaya before reaching our Riad in Rabat.
After a delicious breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive through the charming Rif’s villages, passing through the picturesque town of Wazan. As we approach Chefchaouen, the “Blue City,” you’ll be captivated by its unique charm. Upon arrival, your exploration of this enchanting city begins with our local guide.
Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most delightful destinations, welcomes you with its small and tranquil atmosphere. The city is easy to navigate, with winding paths that lead to various attractions. Begin your journey at the Kasbah, a beautifully restored walled fortress housing a charming garden, a small ethnographic museum, and a modest art gallery. Keep in mind that every part and wall of the city holds its own attraction.
Later in the day, we’ll drive to our Riad for a relaxing night.
After enjoying a delightful breakfast at your Riad, embark on a journey to Fes via Ouazzan, with a captivating stop at the Roman site of Volubilis. After a few hours of travel, you’ll reach Volubilis, a remarkably preserved Roman empire site dating back to 225 BC. Explore the site’s treasures, including the most exquisite mosaics in Morocco from the 3rd century BC. Benefit from a guided tour that provides insights into the history of the Roman Empire.
Following your exploration of Volubilis, continue your journey to Meknes, the former Ismaili capital of Morocco. Marvel at the impressive Bab Mansour gate, commissioned by Sultan My Ismail, and visit notable landmarks such as the granary and the Sahrij Souani, utilized for irrigation and plantation. Your Meknes visit also includes the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum.
Subsequently, we’ll proceed on the highway to Fes, where you’ll spend the night at the hotel.
Explore the ancient streets and alleys of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. Our journey begins with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, the historic Jewish quarter, and the first-ever Mellah built in Morocco. Immerse yourself in the cultural and historical richness of the city, including stops at the prestigious Al Qaraouine University – the region’s oldest institution, the vibrant Tanneries, and the captivating Attarine Museum.
After a satisfying lunch, discover the artistry of a local ceramic factory and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Fes Medina. In the afternoon, venture into the modern district, “La Ville nouvelle,” for a relaxing drink. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in our Hotel/Riad, including breakfast.
After a hearty breakfast, depart from Fes towards Ifrane, a charming mountain village often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” En route, catch glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Make a stop at Azrou, a Berber village nestled in the renowned cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you may encounter Barbary apes.
Continue the journey to Midelt for lunch, followed by a scenic drive through the pre-Saharan zone. Pass through Errachidia and Erfoud, known for its pottery and fascinating fossils, which play a significant role in the local industry. Erfoud’s history dates back around 350 million years when the region was part of a vast ocean.
As you approach Merzouga, be captivated by the colorful sand dunes of Erg Chebbi that emerge on the horizon. Upon reaching the village of Merzouga, meet the Camel Team and embark on a camel trek to reach the camp in the heart of the Sahara Desert.
Witness the breathtaking sunrise after breakfast and embark on a camel trek back to Merzouga village. Depart for Tinjdad, making a brief stop to explore Hinna and Th with a local family. Continue your journey to Todra Gorges, home to the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Enjoy lunch in the heart of the gorge before driving through the picturesque Dades Valley.
As you traverse the valley, marvel at the majestic sand castles and the extraordinary rock formations aptly named “monkey toes.” Conclude the day with an overnight stay in our hotel, surrounded by the unique landscapes of the Dades Valley.
Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll journey through the captivating Dades Valley toward Kalaa M’gouna and Marrakech. The route through the Dades Valley is known as the “Way of the Thousand Kasbahs,” offering numerous opportunities to capture some of the most memorable photographs of your journey.
A stop at Kalaa Mgouna, “the rose city,” allows you to purchase rosewater before visiting the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This largest Kasbah in Morocco was constructed by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains, in the late 19th century as a stop on his extensive trade routes to Timbuctu in Mali. Today, the Kasbah is home to many members of the Glaoui family.
After exploring the Kasbah, we’ll traverse the High Atlas Mountains to reach the vibrant city of Marrakech, concluding our picturesque journey.
Dedicate today to exploring the sights of Marrakech, the imperial city of the South. Begin your journey with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, where you can admire its towering structure. Explore the Majorelle Garden, a botanical oasis featuring a diverse array of plants, and the 16th-century Saadian Tombs adorned with vibrant mosaic tiles. Discover the 19th-century Bahia Palace, showcasing beautiful eastern architecture.
After a lunch break, immerse yourself in the afternoon by wandering through the captivating Souks and narrow alleys surrounding the Djemâa El-Fna Square. In the evening, witness the enchanting spectacle of snake charmers, singers, acrobats, dancers, and storytellers, as they captivate audiences in different corners of the square. Conclude your day with a delightful dinner and spend the night in a hotel or Riad.
