Day 1Tangier – Chefchaouen

We pick you up from your hotel, the port or Tangier airport and start driving through the Rif mountains and the city of Tetouan to enjoy the views of Morocco’s magnificent mountains to Chefchaouan, one of the most beautiful villages at the foot of the Rif mountains. The blue-coloured medina of Chefchaouen (the old part of the town) has become one of the best towns to visit in Morocco, surrounded by numerous arts and crafts shops, rooftop restaurants and cafés. Day 2Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast in the Riad, our journey begins to Volubilis, passing through several Rif villages and beautiful countryside, we stop in Volubilis to discover the Roman ruins and learn about the history of Morocco before Christ, then head to the city of Meknes, (17th century heritage) where we stop for lunch. The afternoon is devoted to visiting the historic sites of the Medina, such as Bab el Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, we will head for the city of Fès where we will spend the night.

Day 3Fes Sightseeing

Today, we explore Morocco’s oldest city, strolling through its narrow streets and alleys. Our tour begins at the Gate of the the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish General Quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Fez and the most interesting sites in Fez with a professional guide. professional guide. Day 4: Fes – Sahara Desert Merzouga

Early in the morning, we start the day heading towards the Sahara from the Riad, passing close to the Ifran National Park, pausing in the town of Ifran “the Switzerland of Morocco” as it is known to enjoy its beauty and take some memorable photos, then heading towards Azrou to see the Barbary apes in the cedar forest and continuing on to Midelt for lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we cross the Tizi N Telghomt pass at an altitude of 1907m to reach Errachidia while admiring the Ziz gorges, which offer amazing photographic opportunities. Later, we stop to admire the panoramic view of the Ziz valley. The road continues to Merzouga via Aoufous and Erfoud. On arrival at the hotel in Merzouga, we prepare to ride a camel over the dunes for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. Overnight and dinner in a camping tent.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges – Dades Gorges

If you wake up early enough, the Sahara desert offers an extraordinary sunrise. Then it’s a leisurely camel ride back to your hotel on the edge of the dunes to enjoy the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes at first light. After breakfast and a shower, we’ll set off for the Todra Gorge, well known as an important destination for mountaineers. The highest and narrowest gorges in western Morocco, where we’ll be able to do some hiking before heading into the Dades valley for dinner and accommodation.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After the breakfast we start the drive to the valley of the roses which blooms in April, taking some o-road inside the palm trees of Skoura, where the architecture of the Kasbahs is spreading within the shadow of the palms. We stop in Ouarzazate city for some pictures of the Kasbah of Taourirt, as well as the cinema studios, which are the high lights of the city of Ouarzazate, afterwards we head to Ksar Ait Ben Haddo which is the UNESCO world heritage and most visited sight in the south, after the walking visit and lunch, we take the road again crossing the magical High Atlas mountain via Tizi n Tichka pass 2260m. Arriving Marrakech in the early evening.
