We’ll start our journey in TANGIER and visit the blue and white city of Chefchaouen and explore the medina, which offers many local crafts. You can stroll through the narrow streets to explore the main square, Plaza Uta el Hamam. After lunch, we depart for Fez where we spend the night in a local riad.

You will visit the principal monuments in the medina of Fes –madrasas, fondouks, palaces, residences, mosques and fountains. We visit the world’s rst university dating from the 9th century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence. Enjoy guided visit of medieval Medina, Quaraouine University, Medersa Attarine, Kingdom Palace, Ben Denane synagogue, souks. Overnight stay in a hotel/riad.

Today we leave the imperial city of Fez and head for the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi via Midelt and the Ziz gorges. We arrive at the village of Merzouga where we meet our camel team and begin our 2-hour camel trek to the camp in the middle of the Sahara desert. Night in camp.

View of the sunrise, then return to Merzouga by camel. Breakfast and shower, then drive to Tinghir. Enjoy the spectacular steep canyon and red walls of the Todgha Gorge, and walk through an oasis in the gorge valley. We will spend the night in Boumalne Dades, in a local riad with dinner.

After breakfast, we drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna – known as “the way of the 1000 kasbahs”. We visit the town of Ouarzazate and then explore the local Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou – the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then cross the High Atlas Mountains to the city of Marrakech.
