The 5-day tour from Fez to Casablanca via the Merzouga Desert is the easiest way to explore the most important part of Morocco, starting in Fez, traveling through the colorful Atlas Mountains, Moroccan canyons, the splendid Sahara Desert, outstanding villages and ending in Casablanca. Day 1Fes – Ifran – Crdar Forest – Atlas Mountains – Erfoud – Merzouga

Sahara tour from Fez to Marrakech: Today we have a full day’s journey through the diverse landscapes
landscapes that make Morocco so unique. Pass through cedar and pine forests, keeping an eye out for Barbary apes.

desert inn (hotel) on the edge of the dunes. We dine in local style and spend the night there.
Please note that all rooms at the desert inn are equipped with bathroom, shower and air conditioning. Day 1: Overnight in Merzouga

Day 2Merzouga Area Exploration and Overnight in Desert Berber Camp.

Today you’re free until you set off on a camel safari in the late afternoon. Why not spend the cool of the morning
exploring the undulating golden sands of the dunes. You can also relax by the pool or read a book in the shared sofa area.

Mattresses, sheets and blankets are provided. For those traveling in winter (November-April), we strongly recommend a sleeping bag for extra warmth.

Day 3Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley.

Early in the morning, your camelman will wake you up to witness what could well be the most beautiful sunrise of your life.
Then it’s off on a peaceful camel ride to the village of Merzouga. En route, you can’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll set off for the Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest and narrowest in Morocco. Here you’ll You’ll have the chance to take a one-hour hike into the valley, where you’ll meet locals and learn about the culture and geography.

Day 4 : Dades Valley – Rock Formation – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate

Today’s route looks set to be the shortest and most active of the trip, starting with a glimpse of the amazing rock formation of the Dades Valley, before heading off-road into the heart of the Atlas Mountains.
