Sahara tour from Fez to Marrakech: Today we have a full day’s journey through the diverse landscapes

Today you’re free until you set off on a camel safari in the late afternoon. Why not spend the cool of the morning
exploring the undulating golden sands of the dunes. You can also relax by the pool or read a book in the shared sofa area.

how to get on and off the camel, as well as other safety tips. Don’t forget to ask them to teach you the trick of tying your turban to protect you from the desert sun.

In the evening, we’ll have time to listen to stories about life in this region and maybe, if we’re lucky, we’ll be treated to some traditional music on drums.

Early in the morning, your camelman will wake you up to witness what could well be the most beautiful sunrise of your life.
Then it’s off on a peaceful camel ride to the village of Merzouga. En route, you can’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll set off for the Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest and narrowest in Morocco. Here you’ll You’ll have the chance to take a one-hour hike into the valley, where you’ll meet locals and learn about the culture and geography.

Today’s route looks set to be the shortest and most active of the trip, starting with a glimpse of the amazing rock formation of the Dades Valley, before heading off-road into the heart of the Atlas Mountains.
