You’ll travel through the southern part of the Kingdom of Morocco, crossing the Middle Atlas, seeing cedar forests and monkeys (Barbary apes), enjoying the Ziz gorges and valley, camel riding through the Erg Chebbi dunes with a local desert guide (camel driver) to watch the sunset and sunrise the next morning, dining under the stars and listening to drum music, and spending a night in a nomad tent camp. You’ll also see the Todra Gorge, the Valley of the Roses, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, and cross the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech. The tour starts in Fez and ends in Marrakech.

Morocco Sahara Tour From Fes to Marrakech 3 days Meet at the hotel around 7 a.m. today for a wonderful journey on a truly amazing route through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you’ll be blown away by the most breathtaking scenery imaginable while experiencing a route that’s unforgettable! You’ll pass through magical towns such as Irfan, Morocco’s little Swiss island, built by the French in 1930, and a winter ski resort. Next, you’ll pass through the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – and jagged rock faces where you may catch a glimpse of the Barbary macaque, which you’ll have the opportunity to photograph. Continue to Middelt for lunch in a local restaurant, then on to Merzouga via Errachidia, stopping to admire panoramic views along the way to Marzouga. After a relaxing moment at the hotel, you’ll take a camel ride through the stunning dunes; camp in a Bedouin tent under the stars; enjoy a tasty traditional tagine meal, then climb the majestic dunes to enjoy the most incredible sunset of your life. If you’re lucky enough to be in the dunes on a full moon night, you absolutely must stand atop a dune to see the seemingly endless desert bathed in a mysterious blue light. The night is rounded off by Tuareg music around the camp after dinner.
